One of the first things we did when we moved was put up the Christmas tree. It took us a little longer to get to decorating. We have been hard pressed to find a time when KC has been home at a time that the kids were still awake so when we finally got a chance on Monday night we got to decorating the tree.
Last year Kambree destroyed our Christmas tree. Endless pine needles were torn off, the stand was broken, all sorts of things were done to that poor tree. This year KC's mom let us use one of hers til I can buy one for us on an after Christmas sale.
I love the excitement that accompanies children and Christmas! They were so thrilled with every decoration; asking the story behind each one and whose ornament it was. It was so fun. It is fun to look how the tree changes each day as the kids pick up and move everything around each and every day.
Today it snowed a little bit. Unfortunately it did not snow as much as the kids would have liked. They decided to make their own snow with all the packing foam we have floating around our house. They made it snow all over, threw snowballs at each other, and if you look close at the picture on the right side there is even a small snowman. These kids kill me!! I will probably have to vacuum for days to get all the snow out of our house, but it sure provided a day of lots of fun so it was worth it!
We are so excited for Christmas and are loving the Christmas season thus far!
