Kid Update

More updates: This time on the happenings of the kids!

Jackson took this picture of himself! He is very into taking pictures now days! At Jacksons last appointment we learned he has gained near 5 lbs and grown 3 inches in the last 6 months... which is pretty fantastic!

Our little guy has also had a major vocabulary improvement. It seems like overnight he went from saying a few words in a row to having full on conversations! He now never stops talking! He is into not wanting to do anything unless it is his idea. He is always telling us he doesn't like things or doesn't want to do things that you know he wants to do. If you wait a few minutes he will come up with it like it is his idea. Over the weekend we drove by a big lake, we tried to show Jackson the water and he refused to look saying he didn't like water. Not 2 minutes later he said all surprised, 'Mama, Daddy LOOK! Lots of water!' Like it was something we would be shocked to see! This is about how it goes on most things we want to show him or want him to do.

The poor guy has also taken a beating lately! Last Wednesday he fell off the couch and hit probably the only hard part of our ottoman and gave himself a black eye. Saturday he came running when KC didn't notice and ran into the door that KC was closing... causing him to bounce off a few things on the way to the ground and get a fat/bloody lip. Then Monday we had a minor frisby misthrow and Jackson walked away with cut a bruise on his forehead! Poor guy!! There is no denying that he is my child with the amount of self caused injuries he gives himself!!!

Kambree is a food monster! She LOVES LOVES LOVES to eat! Here she is just finished with an oreo! It is pretty funny to see this girl if food enters anywhere in her sight! She comes running! She just adores eating!

She is quite the happy little thing too. She gets mad when she can't get food she wants, when Jackson picks on her, or when she is teething, but that is about it. She absolutely adores her brother and my favorite thing is to watch them play and laugh together. At just over 9 months she took 4 steps yesterday!! She is such a mover!!!! She is still not the best at sleeping through the night, but we are hoping that when we move to our 3 bedroom apartment and she can have her own bedroom for a little while we are able to get her to sleep through the night! She is quite the dare devil and we have a keep a close eye on her cause nothing scares her! We love having her in our family and get so much joy from our interactions to her!

We are so lucky to have such cute kids! They have such different personalities, but bring something new and fun to our family each day! We love these little kiddos!!!
