Fantastic Fathers!!

It's Fathers Day! What a great chance we have to spend some time thinking of the amazing the the dads in our lives do for us! I was blessed with the most amazing papa I think a girl could ask for! I didn't always appreciate him like I should have when I was younger, especially I think as a teenager who didn't like to think I was doing much of anything wrong. However, I realized after I moved away for college how much I relied on my papa. He was who I would go to for help on my school work. When I had a pretty bad break up, I cried on my moms shoulder, but spend hours emailing and talking with my papa asking for advice. When I locked myself out of my car it was my sweet Papa who drove an hour and a half to Logan to bring me a spare key, a bottle of lotion, and a short trip for a peach shake. I was always able to rely on my papa for Priesthood blessings throughout my life. I am still lucky to have him here to turn to when I need him and I know he will always be there!

I love my Papa and am so grateful to be his daughter. My kids are so lucky to have him as a grandpa! (This is a picture of my papa holding me as a baby with my older brother standing by.)

KC is the most amazing husband! He spoils me as a wife. I am so lucky to be married to him! And as incredible of a husband as he is, he is an even better dad! My kids absolutely adore their dad!! Never do I see such large smiles as when they see their dad walk through the door after work each day! There have been days and times when I have tried to do things for Jackson and he just states over and over that he 'NEEDS' his dad! He is constantly copying everything he sees his dad do! Kambree simply adores her daddy. Her first words were 'dada' and she giggles like crazy when they play together. I am so grateful to have him as a father to my kids! To have some of the same amazing qualities that my own papa has: hard worker, one who honors his priesthood! I could not be luckier!

I hope that one day my son grows to be anywhere near the man that his father and grandpa are! I love the men in my life!!!
