We had an August as busy as the rest of the summer. We have had so much fun this summer, but have been SO BUSY! Here is the sneak peak into our August...
Jackson and Kambree started preschool last week. Here is the kids before heading to school the first day. This is Jacksons go to pose when I ask him to get in a picture with his sister! They love school and are really happy to be going! I have been watching my little sisters baby during the mornings so it has been nice twice a week to have just the two one year olds to play with for a couple hours!
I was in need of a serious girls night out so I called two of my closest friends and old roommates and they came through! We got some food and went on a hike up to Ensign Peak to eat dinner and catch up! It was SO NEEDED. I seriously love these girls!
KC had his first Ivory Homes work party this past month at This Is The Place. It was a really fun party with GREAT food!
They had a mechanical bull and we all got a chance to ride it! Above is KC.
Kambree was not sure if she loved it. She was slightly nervous.

KC didn't take a picture of me but I did it and was sore for days afterwards! I'm old!

During the day of the party we got to go to This Is The Place park for free. The kids had so much fun. This is us on the train! By this point Kaylee was done if you can't tell from her face... and Kambree had had it with pictures!
My sister and her baby came along with us. Brittany is SO good with my kids! And we love Ellie like she was our own!
The kids favorite part was riding the horses. Kambree thought it was pretty awesome!
And Jackson was thrilled to have ridden 'Bullseye'!
One of my favorite people came into town! Tarah Fitisamanu! We used to live by her in the Village until her husband joined the Air Force and they headed out of town for training and all of their new adventures. Her and her kids came into town for a few weeks in August and we LOVED getting together with them and the Clowards! Here are all the kids while out at lunch one day! (I always love the looks when we go out to eat and ask for a table with 3 adults and 8 kids!)
We continued to spend ALOT of time outside! We may not always love where we live, but we feel so blessed to have the awesome playground with endless friends for the kids to play with outside.
We had a couple outdoor movies. The kids think it is so awesome to watch movies outdoors! They talked for a while about wanting one of those giant movie screens for their birthdays.
We were able to go to one of them with some of our good friends Ashley and Michael. We LOVE them! This was seriously one of the most amazing nights. We played frisbee and talked and laughed and ate and just had an all around fantastic evening!
